AHAH A PUBBLIC EVENT
"I dispose myself to look for graceful presences able to stay in space and time with their own political and biological physionomy" .
The project develops around the costruction of a performative pubblic event produced by a group of people after a laboratory period of at least 10 days.
The spectators will be invited one by one to cover a walk in the city escorted by some kind of helpers or guides to trace together with them a performance act in the duration of an encounter.
AHAH
It's the expression of an attitude becoming a 'form' looking for new models of sociability.
More than a performance it's the production of a 'gesture' in a shared space, the city, which operates on the perception and quality of a 'co-shared time'.
The immagination works to activate a dispositive of presence situated somewhere between the real and the symbolic creating a personal experience of the 'common notion'.
Utopia/experience.
Some kind of termodynamic process, a phenomenon of condensation of energies and podystic retorics is generated in order to orientate the 'co-shared time' towards the production of bio-political qualities.
A work can create, whithin its methods of estetic production, a momentary grouping of observing partecipants able to develop an action with their bodyes, their histories, their behaviours and this encounter can generate a shareable space of time, an 'aesthetic of grace'.
What is in play in 'beeing together' it's politic: is walking in the street, drinking a coffe at a bar, doing the shopping or being in a train compartment.
A changeable/floating sense of time which has the ability to replace ourself in the perception of reality?
Maybe the aesthetic of grace should be considered as a perceptive quality of the world and in this sense, the everyday act, could be an aesthetic act, a 'political posture' which assumes on itself form, attitude, introversion, conversation and desire.
Who is the performer in all of this?…I do believe the one who partecipates.
