The choreographic research of this first study, establishes  itself all in an experience: trying to put in relation two psycophysical dimensions trained to effectiveness, to functional dependency between the body and the soul.
Movement is always a matter of embodying without effort a pace, a stride,  some micro-refrains or repetitions, it appears in the midlle of observing and  listening and it always reveals a  perfect relation between material and mental, between the physical world and the psychological world.
The micro-dances developped during a residencie period in which the ‘trained dancer’ and the ‘trained dog’ have spent some time of  contemplation together  searching for some reciprocal traces to release and to eventually share as a sort of impossible duet.
“The body of a dog is able to detect multiple meanings of the world around, all equally important. It’s obvious that I’m different from a dog: the problem arises if this difference can be hierarchically explained so that I enjoy more credibility than a dog.
A dog can run much faster than me, but  I’m able to run as well, probably I have developed an exstremely more refined and complex language, but also a dog can comunicate, it has only develloped a different language.” Cristina Rizzo

Who is interromping who?  Who is beginning who? Who loves who? Who is abbandoning who? Who is always saying yes? Who is taking who? Who is cammuflaging who? Who is hiding who? Who is feeding who? Who is waiting who? Who is dominating who? Who is stronger, who?  Who is paying who? Who is contacting who? Who interpellate who?  Who is  biting who? Who is caressing who? Who is twisting who? Who is  knocking down who? Who exhaust who? Who embrace who? Who is bending who? Who is dreaming who? Who is speaking who? Who is thinking who? Who is obliging who? Who is keeping who? Who is calling back who? Who is going away, who? Who is coming back who?  Who is feeling who? Who is desiring who? Who is deciding who? Who is enclousing who? Who is revealing who? Who is delaying who? Who is resisting who? Who is supporting who? Who is  training who? Cristina and Gaia are elegant. They put in a blurred distance the banal facts of  dominion. The subject and the object. Cristina will never shows she is feeding Gaia. And Gaia will never shows how she feeds Cristina..
