Markhor is an encounter alive between two autonomous forms of expression, the dance of Cristina Kristal Rizzo and the sound of Enrico Malatesta, generating a mode of reciprocality listening matter. Developed from two moments of study in which the improvisational element has been for both performers a path for the autonomy of the gesture, the piece is designed onto some pivotal elements such as the production of sound trough some micro objects, some automata and percussions, the disposition of the space as the soundscape of a vision and the use of the bodies as a powerful agency for a becoming rhythm. The space of listening is then the matter and the form for producing a shared vision in which the senses are re-organized for the micro and the macro, for the movement of the bodies and the game of the objects involved, together following a free sonic wave.

(…) The Markhor is a wild goat in extinction and it’s the National animal of Pakistan, during the love seasons, the males fight against each others, jumping on top of each others, snagging the horns in the attempt to make the rival loosing its equilibrium. (…) the Markhor emanate a stinging smell, much more intense of that of the domestic goats.
